In 2009 I found myself loving my city in ways I didn't think possible. There are so many great people here who are reaching out to meet each other and do great things. 2010 is starting out the same way. Due to the tragic circumstances in Haiti a group of us have pledged to assist with events and fundraisers to keep awareness in the forefront about the needs of the people there. Today its being kicked off with a donation drive in Arlington today that is being spearheaded by SpotLight's Urban Magazine and my twitter friend Tanijoy. Other upcoming events can be found on my blog and the facebook page Love To Haiti. 100% of all donations will be given to Yele.org which is headed by Haitian native son Wyclef Jean.
Today: Arlington Haiti Donation Drive SpotLight's Urban Magazine will have a Clothing Drive for Haiti TODAY from 12 to 4pm at 2215 S. Cooper Street at the Party City parking lot on the corner of Cooper and Pioneer in Arlington, TX
